 | | Dear Scouts and Scouters: The National Office of the Boy Scouts of America has announced that they are increasing the annual membership fee effective December 1, 2017. The current BSA membership fee of $24 is increasing to $33. With the Council’s insurance fee of $2, the total due at recharter time will be $35 per person for youth and adult participants per year. The BSA has established this new rate to offset continued investment in technology, rising liability insurance costs, and continued program development and implementation. All registration fees are sent directly to the National Office of the Boy Scouts of America.
