Summer 2021 might seem a long way off, but preparations for the 2021 National Scout Jamboree have already begun. You can Be Prepared by grabbing a parent or guardian and visiting the official Jamboree website at jamboree.scouting.org for information on the event, plus instructions on how to register.
The theme of the 2021 Jamboree is Face the Challenge. Activities will include rock climbing, whitewater rafting, zip lining, scuba instruction, kayaking, shooting sports, skateboarding and BMX biking.
As part of a unique leadership-focused experience, Scouts will embark on a journey to discover and apply their own leadership styles in a variety of fun activities, enabling them to serve as leaders in their units, communities, nation and world. Participants must have completed sixth grade or be at least 12 years old by July 1, 2021.
